Terms of Use
Last updated 25 August 2026
These terms cover your use of Red Robins (redrobins.co.uk). By registering an account, or by using the site as a visitor, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
1. Not affiliated with Charlton Athletic FC
Red Robins is an independent, unofficial fan community. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise officially connected to Charlton Athletic Football Club, the EFL, or any of their affiliates. Any club names, logos and crests referenced or displayed are the property of their respective owners and used for identification and commentary purposes only.
2. Who can use Red Robins
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. By registering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. You're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything that happens under your account.
3. Acceptable use
This is a community for football fans, run for fun. Please keep it that way. You agree not to:
- Post anything abusive, harassing, hateful, discriminatory, defamatory, obscene, or illegal.
- Impersonate anyone, or misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation (including Charlton Athletic FC).
- Upload photos or other content you don't have the right to share.
- Spam, scrape, or use the site for unsolicited advertising.
- Attempt to disrupt, hack, or gain unauthorised access to the site or other members' accounts.
- Use another member's account, or create multiple accounts to evade a ban.
Report anything that breaks these rules using the report tools on posts and profiles, or by emailing us.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you post: text, photos, predictions, anything. By posting it, you grant Red Robins a non-exclusive licence to store, display and distribute it on the site as part of the normal running of the service. You confirm you have the right to post what you upload (for photos, that generally means you took it, or you otherwise have permission to share it). You can delete your own posts and photos at any time.
5. Moderation
We moderate the community to keep it welcoming. We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these terms, at our discretion and without always giving advance notice, though we'll always tell you why if you ask. If you think a moderation decision was wrong, raise it via the helpdesk and we'll take a look.
6. Copyright
The site's own design, code and branding belong to Red Robins. News items are aggregated from third-party publishers (such as CAFC.co.uk, BBC Sport and the News Shopper) as a headline, short excerpt and a link back to the original article. We don't reproduce full articles, and every link credits and sends traffic to the original publisher. If you're a rights holder and believe something on this site infringes your copyright, email hello@redrobins.co.uk with details and we'll investigate and remove it if appropriate.
7. Third-party links
The site links to external sites (news sources, the official CAFC site, the EFL, TfL, and others). We don't control and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or availability of any external site.
8. No warranty
Red Robins is provided "as is", run as a personal, non-commercial project, on a reasonable-efforts basis. Match data, predictions, league tables and fixtures are sourced from third-party feeds and hand-curated where the feeds fall short. We do our best to keep them accurate, but we don't guarantee it, and nothing on this site should be relied on for anything important. The Prediction League and score predictions are for fun only and carry no prize, entitlement or monetary value.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Red Robins and the people who run it won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't legally be excluded (for example, for fraud, or death or personal injury caused by negligence).
10. Ending your account
You can delete your own account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. Either way, sections of these terms that by their nature should survive (like copyright and liability) continue to apply after your account ends.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll ask existing members to review and confirm them before continuing to use the site.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
